Job Description

Criterion.B is a content marketing agency located in downtown Dallas. We focus mainly on inbound marketing (i.e., social media, blogging, online advertising, etc.), which we perform for clients across several industries. We’re a ravenous group of doodlers, bloggers and technology tinkerers, and we’re looking for a few bright young interns to join the tight-knit Criterion.B team.

Criterion.B hires several interns each semester, and we’re currently in search of an Agency intern, Graphic Design intern and Social Media/Content Strategy intern for Fall 2018 + Spring 2019.

The ultimate goal of our internship program is for you to leave here better prepared for your career. We’re not looking for coffee runners. Rather, we’re looking for interns who are wildly creative and highly motivated to gain tangible experience in the digital marketing industry. Responsibilities (AGENCY INTERN):

  • Assist with agency work across all departments.
  • Ability to think and learn quickly.
  • Assist the team as needed during heavy project flow.
  • Conduct competitive research.
  • Assist with administrative support.
  • Produce analytics reports as needed.
  • Develop paid ads as needed.
  • Contribute to content creation as needed.
  • Shadow the agency as a whole and learn what it takes to work as a digital marketer.

Responsibilities (GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN):

  • Develop design concepts with direction from the creative team to produce both assets for clients and the agency itself.
  • Produce high-quality work on InDesign and Illustrator, as well as illustrative sketching, blog graphics, logo design, and social media graphics.
  • Conduct competitive research.
  • Assist with administrative support.
  • Shadow Creative and Art Directors to learn the true meaning of design.


  • Canonball SXSWWork closely with the Content Strategy team on client blog and social media accounts. This includes strategizing, executing, and measuring results.
  • Build lists & monitor for client social media accounts.
  • Write blogs & assist with social media for the agency itself.
  • Conduct competitive research.
  • Assist with administrative support.
  • Shadow some of the best Content Strategists in all the land

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in college and working toward obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications Journalism, PR and/or English.
  • IMG_3640Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week and be punctual.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Mac and PC.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current social media platforms.

Criterion.B’s interns will be paid a stipend upon the completion of their internship. We also try to compensate you in other ways for your hard work and dedication. First and foremost, we offer you experience for your resume and we will be happy to supply you with a letter of recommendation upon the successful completion of your internship. All colleges have programs designed to aid students in gaining college credit for their internship experiences. We are happy to sign-off on any paperwork necessary to help you gain credit, however, it is the intern’s responsibility to make credit arrangements with their school.
