Preston Hollow Village is a multi-phase mixed-use development that partnered with Criterion.B to bring awareness to their Phase 1 lifestyle retailers. At the corner of Walnut Hill and 75, the mixed-use development enjoys excellent drive-by visibility, but needed to differentiate itself from surrounding retail centers in the Dallas area.

The Challenge

Success for Preston Hollow Village was defined by raising awareness about the new retailers featured at the development. Criterion.B outlined a grassroots strategy for Preston Hollow Village aimed at sparking interest and driving engagement through social media. To separate the community from surrounding retail competitors, Criterion.B established a distinct visual style, which branded Preston Hollow Village as colorful, vibrant, and dynamic.

The Solution

Our strategy of consistent social media presence, paired with very visual brand elements emphasizing a sense of community, was used to drive social media visitation and build brand awareness. Strategy-driven social advertising campaigns were implemented to spread reach and spark media interest. From retail-driven lifestyle topics, the Preston Hollow Village blog boast fresh content every month. With directed social media campaigns, a targeted advertising strategy, and influencer outreach, Criterion.B leveraged digital platforms to delight and attract a strong audience.

Promotional Campaign - "Mark the Moment"

In order to spark engagement among customers and retailers, Criterion.B launched the ‘Mark the Moment’ campaign to generate positive word-of-mouth and drive engagement. The campaign encouraged patrons to share their moments with #MarkTheMoment at any of the Preston Hollow Village retailers. Whether they’re enjoying a seasonal pizza, showing off a new haircut, or finishing up a great workout, we wanted to collect the moments being made.

Social Media Management

The life of Preston Hollow Village's digital presence was weighted on Criterion.B's social media management and content creation. We mixed original photography, retailer-driven blog topics, and user-generated content from local influencers and village visitors to create a powerful social media feed. Management strategy also included being highly responsive to commentary and regularly engaging with followers.
